Project Summary
This project includes complete reconstruction of US 1 to provide one travel lane in each direction divided by a concrete barrier wall; inside and outside shoulders including a northbound shoulder that can be used as an additional travel lane in the event of evacuation; as well as numerous environmental and hydrological enhancements including six box culverts for wildlife crossings.
