Project Limits

The westernmost east and westbound bridges along the Causeway, just east of Miami

 

Project Summary

This work includes repairs to the support structure beneath the bridge as well the existing fender system. Work might require closing roadway shoulders at various times and locations. However, all work will be performed beneath the bridges and should have little or no impact on vehicular (surface) traffic or marine traffic.

 

Start Date: November 2006

Completion: Fall 2008

 

Construction Cost: $4.5 million
