Project Summary
The intent of the project is to enhance the area by: widening the roadway and reconstructing the median at various locations; paving an out-of-service railroad track at NW 72nd Avenue and NW 22nd Street; rebuilding curb ramps and driveways to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards; replacing sections of the sidewalk and curb & gutter at various locations; upgrading traffic signs; and repaving and re-striping the roadway. Once completed, this work will improve the smoothness of the pavement and enhance safety throughout the corridor for motorists and pedestrians.
