NW 5th Street Bridge over the Miami River with improvements on NW 7th Avenue and NW South River Drive.

 

Project Summary

This project includes building a new bascule (movable span) bridge over the Miami River at NW 5th Street. The project also includes extensive pedestrian and roadway improvements on NW 7th Avenue and NW South River Drive including new storm water drainage, lighting, signalization and roadway reconstruction.

 

Start Date: Winter 2008

 

Completion: Spring 2010

 

Construction Cost: $54 million
