The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for three roadway improvement projects along State Road (SR) 994/Quail Roost Drive/SW 186 Street/SW 200 Street from west of SW 127 Avenue to SW 113 Avenue, in Miami-Dade County. 

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

  • Installing a new traffic signal and new lighting at SW 200 Street/Caribbean Boulevard  
  • Repaving and restriping the roadway along the project limits
  • Upgrading signs, pavement markings and pedestrian ramps, signals and adding push buttons
  • Adding speed feedback signs on the eastbound and westbound approaches to the SW 113 Avenue and SW 200 Street intersections
  • Enhancing pedestrian signals to countdown type
  • Upgrading lighting at SW 122 Avenue, SW 117 Avenue and SW 115 Avenue

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC (MOT):

Temporary lane closures during non-peak hours will have effects on traffic. Pedestrian traffic will be impacted.
