The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a pedestrian safety improvement project along State Road (SR) 90/SW 7 Street from SR 9/SW 27 Avenue to SR 5/Brickell Avenue, in Miami-Dade County.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED:

  • Providing countdown pedestrian signal heads
  • Improving pedestrian detectors, signals and ramps to comply with the latest requirements
  • Reconstructing damaged sidewalks and adjusting utility tops

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC (MOT):

Temporary lane closures during non-peak hours will have minimal effects on traffic.
