The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing a roadway improvement project along State Road (SR) 922/NW 125 Street from NW 6 Court to NE Miami Court, in Miami-Dade County.


  • Widening of I-95 southbound off ramp to provide a left turn lane
  • Converting the westbound inside thru lane to a left turn lane to turn into southbound NW 6 Court
  • Widening the road and adding a westbound right turn lane at NW 6 Avenue
  • Relocating and installing traffic signals at NW 6 Avenue and NW 6 Court
  • Installing eastbound and westbound left turn lanes at NW 2 Avenue
  • Constructing raised concrete islands at NE Miami Court, NW 1 Avenue and NW 4 Avenue to restrict left turn movements from the side streets and along NW 125 Street
  • Upgrading traffic signals at North Miami Avenue
  • Improving drainage
  • Relocating existing light poles
  • Repaving and restriping the roadway
  • Removing landscape


Temporary lane closures during non-peak hours will have minimal effects on traffic.
