Project Summary
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six is developing the design for a project on SR 922/NE 123 Street at the intersection of North Bayshore Drive. This project is being constructed in response to requests received from citizens as well as from the City of North Miami District Three Commissioner Scott Galvin. The project will provide safe sidewalk connection to the bridge for pedestrians and people with disabilities. The work includes:
• Repaving the road
• Constructing a new six foot concrete sidewalk along the north and south side of SR 922/NE 123 Street from the intersection of North Bayshore Drive to just west of the Broadview Causeway Bridge within state-owned property
• Upgrading pedestrian ramps
• Modifying pedestrian signals
