The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six is developing the design for projects along SR A1A/Collins Avenue in the Village of Bal Harbour and SR 922/96 Street/Kane Concourse in the Town of Bay Harbor Islands, in Miami-Dade County.

• Repaving and restriping the road
• Upgrading pedestrian ramps
• Repairing sidewalks
• Upgrading countdown push-button signals at pedestrian crosswalks
• Installing shared bicycle lanes

PROJECT DETAILS FOR SR 922/96 STREET/KANE CONCOURSE, PROJECT NUMBER 4274211-52-01
• Repaving and restriping the road
• Installing new signage
• Installing a concrete island at the intersection of Abbott Avenue and Kane Concourse
• Installing shared bicycle lanes
• Repairing sidewalks
• Upgrading pedestrian ramps

The public will have the opportunity to view the project plans and graphic displays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project. Your participation is encouraged and will give us the opportunity to listen to your comments and address any concern that you may have.
