The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is developing the design for a roadway project along State Road (SR) 7/NW 2 Avenue from SR 7 bridge ramp to NW 179 Street and NW 7 Avenue extension from NW 3 Avenue to NW 2 Avenue, in Miami-Dade County.
WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
- Restricting northbound U-turn movement along SR 7/NW 2 Avenue at NW 177 Street
- Removing the bus stop south of NW 179 Street west of SR 7/NW 2 Avenue
- Extending northbound and southbound left-turn lanes at NW 2 Avenue and NW 177 Street
- Upgrading traffic and pedestrain signals, signage and crosswalk
- Enhancing landscape
MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC:
Temporary lane closures during non-peak hours will have minimal effects on traffic.
