Welcome
 
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began this bridge repair/rehabilitation project the week of August 1, 2016. The project limits extend along SR 5/US 1/Overseas Highway from Summerland Key (MM 25.396) to Ramrod Key (MM 26.261) in the Lower Keys, Monroe County.

The project will entail Repairing and restoring columns, cleaning concrete surfaces, sealing minor cracks, and adding corrosion protection to existing foundations or drilled shafts.

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION
Travel lanes may be closed as needed during daytime and nighttime hours in the areas surrounding the work. Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of construction on the community. Pedestrian ramps and sidewalks will be closed at times for safety reasons.
