The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will begin a roadway safety improvement project along SR 907/Alton Road at Michigan Avenue in the City of Miami Beach.

DESCRIPTION

  • Widening the roadway to accommodate a second southbound left-turn lane at the intersection of Alton Road and Michigan Avenue
  • Installing drainage inlets at various locations
  • Removing and relocating landscaping as needed
  • Repaving and restriping the roadway
  • Upgrading pedestrian curb ramps
  • Installing new traffic and pedestrian signals and signs
  • Installing new street lighting
     

LANE CLOSURE INFORMATION

To do this work safely, it will be necessary to close travel lanes and establish detours at times.

Lanes may be closed during non-peak hours.
